Multiple-location dental practice owner Dr. David Lindow is a Dentist and a Business Owner. This 22-year experienced practitioner has also been a management consultant, seminar lecturer, marketing consultant and certified behavioral analyst since 1998.

Dr. David Lindow, DDSDavid L. Lindow, DDS, graduated from the University of Michigan in 1976, and the University Of Detroit School Of Dentistry in 1980. David operated a successful fee-for-service clinic in the Ozark Mountains between 1980 and 1982, while serving in the National Health Service Corps. In 1982, David built an office "from scratch" in a tiny rural town of just 1,200 residents in southwestern Michigan, and was so successful that he invited his brother, Dr. William Lindow, to join him in 1990. During that decade he also increased his knowledge by taking extensive postgraduate courses in oral surgery, orthodontics, periodontics and TMJ.

Also in 1990, David opened a second fee-for-service office. In 1992, he opened a third office in yet a third small, rural Central Michigan town, where he consistently met annual production goals of over $1,500,000. It was during this period that David broadened his entrepreneurial education, realizing that multiple offices (or even a single office) needs a Standard Operation Manual, Job Descriptions and an entire office that had excellent communication skills - to be able to educate patients as well as improve case acceptance.

Eliminating stress for the doctor and staff while guiding patients on a "path of wellness" in a dental practice is one of our primary goals with each of our clients. David specializes in coaching dentists and staff to be able to create and implement a quality periodontal therapy program and new patient experience. David is able to assist each of his doctors to master the steps required to successfully lead his or her team. Clinical excellence, risk management and effective communication skills are all emphasized in this process. Doctors and staff must be able to integrate and convey clinical urgency, quality of life issues as well as systemic influences on all their patients.

Dr. Lindow began his dental consulting career with a national consulting company, and then founded DMD CEO Consulting, which is now Lindow Leadership Consulting and Coaching in 2005. David lectures nationally and has shared his business/clinical expertise with over 150 offices for the past 6 years. His vast knowledge of the industry encompasses Restorative, Esthetics, Implants, Orthodontics, Periodontal Therapy Programs and Oral Surgery. He is a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association.
